Pool/Spa Policies and Procedures



  1. The swimming pool facilities are open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
  2. The use of the swimming pool facilities is restricted to authorized members and their guests.
  3. Each membership household may bring up to FIVE guests for use of the swimming pool facilities and must accompany their guests at ALL times.
  4. No teams, leagues, or other such groups, as determined by the District or its agents, may use the Swimming Pool Facilities without expressed, written District consent in advance. Any group using the facility must present said written consent upon verbal request by the District or its representatives.  
  5. Lifeguards will not be present and all persons using the swimming pool facilities do so at their own risk.
  6. Individuals under the age of THIRTEEN must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) at all times while using the swimming pool facilities.
  7. Adults accompanying children are responsible for ensuring that their children do not urinate or defecate in the swimming (Swim diapers MUST be worn or rubber briefs MUST be placed over diapers). Adults accompanying children will be held monetarily responsible for any clean up or other fees incurred as a result of non-adherence to this paragraph.  Children who are capable of walking may not be naked anywhere within the swimming pool facilities other than the restroom when changing apparel.
  8. All persons using the swimming pool facilities shall obey the posted capacity requirements as defined by Pasco County.
  9. Swim suits must be worn while using the swimming pool.
  10. Showering is MANDATORY before use of the swimming pool.
  11. Running within the gated swimming pool facilities is prohibited.
  12. Diving into the swimming pool or spa is prohibited.
  13. Rough housing, “chicken” fighting, or horseplay in the swimming pool is prohibited.
  14. Animals, except for service animals as defined by Florida statutes, are prohibited in the swimming pool facilities.
  15. Food or drinks are prohibited within TEN FEET of the swimming pool edges.
  16. Tobacco products including e-cigarettes within the swimming pool facilities are prohibited.
  17. Glass containers are prohibited in the swimming pool facilities.
  18. Music played in the swimming pool must be at a reasonable level as well as free of profanityand
  19. Furniture shall not be removed from the swimming pool facilities or placed into the swimming pool.
  20. All of the above POLICIES, where applicable, shall apply to the playground areas.
  21. Rollerblades/in-line skates/heelys, skateboards, scooters and the like are prohibited within the swimming pool facilities.
  22. The use of profanity, harassment, bullying and similar behavior of any kind is prohibited in the swimming pool facilities.
  23. In the case of LIGHTNING and/or THUNDER, the swimming pool shall be vacated immediately at the first sighting of lightning or sound of thunder. Persons may return to the pool no sooner than 15 minutes after the last sighting of lightning or hearing of thunder. Failure to adhere to this paragraph may result in the suspension or revocation of access to the swimming pool facilities.
  24. 911 shall be called in the event of an emergency.
  25. Any request for a variance to the Swimming Pool Facilities Policies must be submitted in writing to the District Manager for consideration.
  26. Non-adherence to this Swimming Pool Facilities Policy or failure to follow instructions of CDD personnel in regards to the use of the swimming pool facilities may result in the suspension or revocation of access to the swimming pool facilities.
